TRADITIONAL ART
This section is where my journey began. From the earliest days, I found joy in the timeless techniques and rich history of traditional art forms. This passion has shaped my artistic style and continues to inspire my work today. Join me as I explore the beauty and depth of traditional art.

BUGGIN ' OUT
18 x 24 in.
Lithography
2023
Buggin' Out references the military phrase and my love for bugs. Although they are some of my favorite creatures, the bugs are representations of my anxiety, among others. In the past, I've let others' opinions shape how I think which only disconnected me from my true self.
GREEN GOBLIN
8 x 4 in.
Graphite
2022
A graphite drawing of my favorite Spiderman villain, the Green Goblin.

THOUGHTLESS LIVING
18 x 12 in.
Ink
2021
A piece I made in high school for my AP 2-D portfolio, displays a random and subconscious journey to the mind. There is no assigned meaning to any symbols in the piece, only the connections the viewer make to what they see.
MOTHS IN MY STOMACH
18 X 24 in.
Linoleum Print
2023
The subject of this print is in the spotlight bent over, trying to crawl away from the blinding light. A shadow not of the person reflects onto the wall, revealing a once hidden confession that can never be sealed again.

HIGH TEA

Oils
2023
It is an impressionistic painting depicting a small teacup owned by my grandma with flowers in it.
SHOWER TILES

A piece based on an Italian shower my roommate used while living abroad in Florence.

HEART OF THE CARDS
20 x 24 in.
Cut Paper, Markers
2022
1st Place in Cut Paper Category, AYAA
Made in my high school 2-D Art portfolio, the oppression of the subject by the cards represents the hold of mysticism. The amount of power the cards have is determined by how much is fed into it or not.
SELF PORTRAIT
18 x 24 in.
Acrylic
2022
The second self-portrait I ever created, the fauvistic style represented how I was feeling about myself at the time.

1st Place in Expressive Portrait Category, AYAA

WHITE RABBIT
8 X 8 in.
Cut Paper, Paint Markers
2022
I created it during my freshman year of college in my Design Foundations I class. The assignment was to make a personal mark, and this is where my artist name, "ACE," was born.
2020 VISION

Oils
2020
3rd Place in Expressive Oils Category, AYAA
The first self-portrait I ever made, created for a potential scholarship competition. Although I was not in the top ten of submissions, this is one of my favorite paintings I have ever done.

CALL ME
18 x 24 in.
Oils
2024
My first monochromatic still life, completed during my sophomore year of college.
HE'S GOT THE WHOLE WORLD
18 x 24 in.
Oils
2024
My first attempt at a still life using the glazing technique. When I first started the piece, I was sure the method wouldn't work, but after I put the first coat of red over the monochromatic base, I fell in love with the technique.

ROAD SAFETY
36 x 32 in.
Oils
2024
My first attempt at a full, direct-color still-life was created in the spring of 2024.
COPY OF A MASTERS
Whisperings of love, "Première rêverie" by William-Adolphe Bouguereau
22 x 28 in.
Oils
2024
My first attempt at copying a master painter's famous work. Since I was young, I remember being entranced by the mythological scenes Bouguereau captured with his realistic and polished style.

HEBREWS 12:2
2 .5 x 6 ft. (Triptych)
Oils
2024
This is one of the first religious pieces I have ever done. When starting I had the verse Hebrews 12:2 to inspire me. It reads “Looking to Jesus, the founder, and perfecter of our faith...” When I first read
this I had a clear picture of Jesus walking in my mind. However, it was not a man but the vague idea and presence of Jesus that I saw. I achieved this look by painting the figure using the knife painting technique. I wanted him to stand out against the soft and blended background. He is seen carrying the lost sheep as he faces away from the viewer, inviting them to follow him to their salvation.

They currently reside in the Harding University Northwest Arkansas building on 901 S 52nd St, Rogers, AR 72758
